Every morning for breakfast I have 1 cup of Greek Yogurt and an apple.
For most of my life I have cut the apple myself. But I now I use my Zyliss Apple Slicer – Cutter, Corer and Divider to get the job done. One push down and my apples are divided into 8 sections and the seeds and core are separated into their own section.
I haven’t tried it to make an apple pie yet… but our July 4th picnic might be a good time to start!

Last month, Greg and I were traveling home from a trip to Boston and we took an impromptu detour through Orange, CT. That’s when we unexpectedly bought a pet cockatiel!
I had read about these fun and beautiful birds before, but even so, I was surprised to learn firsthand how social and affectionate they can be. Rudy sits on my shoulder most of the day while I’m working. Plus, he loves jumping from person to person on the couch during movie night or sitting on his perch while we have dinner.
I love my new little buddy!
