Every single day, no matter where I am or what the weather is like, I take a walk. Not a strolling walk, but a fast one. I love it.
I listen to music, clear my head, talk to a friend on the phone, or just let my mind wander. It’s amazing what being outside for an hour can do for my spirit. Most of the time I walk to and around the Jamaica Pond, which is part of my neighborhood in Boston.
If you’re thinking about adding exercise to your routine this year and you aren’t much of a gym person, consider giving walking a try. It’s a great way to get fit and have fun.
