From time to time I ride the bus from Jamaica Plain to Back Bay. While it’s convenient and easy, I have sometimes waited as long as 15 minutes for the next bus to arrive, depending on the time of day. The weekends are brutal.
But now, thanks to the iPhone app called Catch the Bus (and the woman at the bus stop who told me about it), I know exactly when my bus will arrive. I can store my favorite stops in this app and arrive at the bus stop just in time for the bus, thanks to Apple and GPS technology.
Now if only they had an app to make traffic disappear when I’m running late….
